What was your favourite aspect of the project?
The print side of it, mainly doing the poster (as well as the flyer) and getting everything ready for presentations. Could never wrap my head around designing the website, so didn't.
Your biggest learning?
It was a good learning experience working as a group and trying to manage my time with Ruby, although there was a lot of dead-time where we could've done a lot more work. I also liked trying to carry a style through different forms of media (from poster, to my flyer, and then to the website). Since they originally all clashed together and didn't fit well at all.
What would you change or do differently?
Even though I say this almost every assignment, I would definitely change my attitude towards going to class. I got discouraged if I didn't do any work and if that happens, I wouldn't go, which is something I have to really wrap my head around. Perhaps I would also try working more cohesively with my partner, and distributing some workload to her, so that we could both have a bigger impact on the assignment due to having different strengths and weaknesses.
